Terms and conditions
Last updated: October 1, 2026
These terms apply to Shelter Escape House bookings and games. Please read them before you book.
Who we are
Shelter Escape House is operated by CATACOMB ADVENTURE S.R.L., tax ID (CUI) 41925349, Trade Register no. J35/4296/2019, registered office at Bulevardul 16 Decembrie 1989, Nr. 75, Corp C3, Etaj S, 300219 Timișoara, Timiș County, Romania. You can reach us at shelterescapehouse@gmail.com or +40 784 819 172.
Bookings
Games are by appointment only. Book via WhatsApp, phone or social media at least 24 hours in advance. Your booking is confirmed once we reply with the agreed day and time. A team has 2 to 6 people. Act II can only be played if at least half of the team has finished Act I, and Act III only if at least half of the team has finished Act II.
Prices and payment
Monday to Thursday, the 60-minute game costs 400 lei per team and the 90-minute game 500 lei per team. Friday to Sunday, add 20 lei per person. Payment is in cash, on site, on the day of the game.
Cancellation
You can cancel your booking at any time, free of charge. Please let us know at least 24 hours in advance so we can offer the slot to another team. Because leisure services booked for a specific date are exempt from the 14-day right of withdrawal (Art. 16(l) of Government Emergency Ordinance no. 34/2014), cancellation follows this section.
Arrival and age
Arrive 15 minutes before your booking for the briefing. If you are running late, let us know as soon as possible. The minimum age is 14; children under 14 can only take part with an adult.
Health and safety
Shelter is an intense horror experience: darkness, fog or smoke effects, flashing (strobe) lights and actors who may touch or grab you. We do not recommend it for people with heart conditions, epilepsy or sensitivity to flashing lights, asthma or other breathing problems, pregnant women or people with claustrophobia. You cannot enter under the influence of alcohol or drugs. The rooms are dark and damp, so wear comfortable clothes and tie your shoes well.
Briefing and safe word
Before the game, our team gives you a briefing and tells you the safe word. Say it and the game stops immediately. Please follow the team's instructions throughout the game, for your safety and everyone else's.
Complaints
If something wasn't right, email us at shelterescapehouse@gmail.com and we'll get back to you. You can also use alternative dispute resolution through the ANPC platform: reclamatiisal.anpc.ro.
Governing law
These terms are governed by Romanian law.
